Shanghai, China — April 27, 2026 — CHINAPLAS 2026, the 38th International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries, was held from April 21 to 24 at the National Exhibition & Convention Center (Shanghai), PR China. BENK Machinery welcomed customers, partners and industry visitors at Booth 7.1A14, presenting complete plastic extrusion solutions for sheet, board, profile, pipe, recycling and auxiliary applications.
Although the exhibition has concluded, the technical discussions and project evaluations that began at the show are continuing. BENK teams are now following up with customers on line configuration, material testing, output targets, factory layout, automation requirements and delivery planning.

Plastic Extrusion Solutions in the Spotlight
At CHINAPLAS 2026, BENK focused on complete production lines rather than isolated machines. Visitors were able to review equipment layouts, product samples, line videos and engineering cases covering some of the company’s most requested product categories.
The technologies presented and discussed included:
- PET/PP/PS sheet production line for packaging, electronics, household appliances, decoration and industrial sheet applications.
- PP/PC hollow sheet production line for hollow boards, reusable boxes, advertising boards, construction panels and related products.
- PP hollow construction formwork production line, developed for projects requiring consistent strength, surface flatness and long service life.
- One-step HIPS/HDPE decorative board production line, designed to improve production continuity and reduce unnecessary process transfers.
- PET/PP/PC/HDPE wave tile production line, with customizable wave profiles, widths and output capacities.
- PVC/UPVC/WPC door panel and profile production line for door panels, window profiles, decorative profiles and wood-plastic composite products.
- HDPE/PVC/UPVC/CPVC pipe production line for water supply, drainage, gas, communication, power conduit and industrial pipe applications.
BENK also discussed the supporting equipment required for stable line operation, including plastic extruders, screws and barrels, extrusion dies, calibration tables, haul-off units, cutting machines, winding systems, crushers, mixers, plastic recycling machines and other plastic auxiliary equipment.

Global Customers Focus on Complete-Line Performance
During the four-day exhibition, BENK met with customers from Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa and the domestic Chinese market. Their questions reflected a clear shift in purchasing priorities: buyers are looking beyond individual machine prices and focusing on the complete production line.
Frequently discussed topics included raw material adaptability, screw and die configuration, line capacity, energy consumption, automation level, product quality, changeover efficiency, maintenance requirements and after-sales response. For sheet, board, profile and pipe projects, BENK engineers explained the critical process-control points that affect stable production and long-term operating costs.
Keywords such as high output, low energy consumption, stable operation, complete-line automation, fast changeover, remote service and turnkey project were repeatedly raised during customer meetings. These discussions also provide useful direction for BENK’s continued product development.

From the Exhibition to the Factory
CHINAPLAS is not only a platform for product display; it is also an opportunity for customers to evaluate a supplier’s manufacturing capability, quality control and project-delivery system. During and after the exhibition, some customers continued their discussions with visits to BENK’s factory in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province.
These visits allowed customers to review machining and assembly processes, inspect key components, discuss factory testing procedures and better understand how a complete extrusion line is prepared before shipment. For projects with specific materials or product structures, BENK can also arrange trial runs and technical validation based on the customer’s samples and target specifications.

Continued Support After CHINAPLAS 2026
For customers who were unable to complete technical confirmation during the exhibition, BENK’s sales and engineering teams are continuing to provide project support. Based on the raw material, product drawing, target output and factory conditions, BENK can prepare a suitable line configuration, equipment layout, budgetary proposal and delivery schedule.
Whether the project involves a new plastic sheet extrusion line, plastic board production line, hollow sheet line, construction formwork line, PVC/WPC profile line, HDPE/PVC pipe extrusion line, wave tile line, HIPS/HDPE decorative board line, plastic recycling machine or auxiliary equipment, BENK can provide a customized solution from process design through installation and operator training.
