A pre-punched hose leaves the factory with the outlet connectors already welded in place. In the field the installer simply unrolls the hose and pushes the drip tape onto each outlet, which removes the slowest and most leak-prone step of a normal installation.
BENK MACHINE builds both inner and outer outlet versions. The outer version uses ultrasonic welding with the connector seated on the hose surface; the inner version embeds the connector through the wall in a multi-layer construction. Either way the outlets are pressure tested and the strength comes from a welded joint rather than a clamped gasket.
