Product introduction

How the Film and Drip Tape Washing, Recycling and Granulation Line is engineered, and which sub-assemblies protect the performance your customers actually buy.

Drip tape and mulch film are both made from polyethylene, and both are usually collected dirty. Recovering that material closes the loop on resin cost, but only if the sand, soil and organic matter are removed before pelletising.

The BENK MACHINE recycling line starts with a heavy duty crusher, then uses high speed friction washing and flotation separation to strip soil and debris, followed by mechanical dewatering and hot air drying. The clean flakes are fed to a pelletising extruder with either strand or water ring cutting. Washing capacity is 500 or 1000 kg per hour and granulation capacity is 300, 400 or 600 kg per hour.

Technical advantages

Every sub-assembly below is selected to protect the performance your customers buy.

01

Built for dirty material

The crusher and washer are designed for film and tape that arrives with soil and organic residue attached.

02

Abrasion resistant

Wear resistant rotor and chamber materials extend service life on abrasive agricultural waste.

03

Selectable wash stages

One or more rinse stages are chosen according to how contaminated the incoming material is.

04

Controlled moisture

Dewatering plus pipeline drying brings the moisture content down to the level the pelletiser needs.

05

Choice of cutting method

Strand or water ring cutting is selected to suit the required pellet shape and downstream use.

06

Closes the material loop

Pellets can be re-used in drip tape production, which reduces raw material cost and waste.

Key benefits

  • Built for dirty material — The crusher and washer are designed for film and tape that arrives with soil and organic residue attached.
  • Abrasion resistant — Wear resistant rotor and chamber materials extend service life on abrasive agricultural waste.
  • Selectable wash stages — One or more rinse stages are chosen according to how contaminated the incoming material is.
  • Controlled moisture — Dewatering plus pipeline drying brings the moisture content down to the level the pelletiser needs.

Built to run

Material preparation, processing and downstream handling can be integrated into one turnkey scope from a single supplier.

Why buy from BENK MACHINE

Extrusion specialists, not traders

BENK MACHINE designs and builds extrusion and drip irrigation equipment in Zhangjiagang with an in-house R and D and process team, so machine selection is matched to your resin and product instead of a catalogue number.

Evidence before shipment

Every machine is assembled and run in our works. You receive trial video, gauge and output records, and are welcome to attend the factory acceptance test.

Total cost, not lowest price

Energy efficient drives, permanent magnet motors and optimised heating reduce kWh per tonne, which usually matters more over five years than the initial purchase price.

Real commissioning support

Our engineers install, commission, train your operators and stay involved until the machine hits the specified output and quality on your material.

Spares and response

Critical spares are stocked for fast dispatch, and the Siemens Ethernet control platform allows remote diagnosis before a service visit is needed.

Upgrades as you grow

Co-extrusion, gauge control, automation and downstream equipment can be added later, protecting your original investment.
