A finished coil of drip tape is easily damaged in transit. Dust, moisture, ultraviolet light and handling all affect the product before it reaches the field, and an unprotected coil looks unfinished to a buyer.
The BENK MACHINE coil wrapper applies a controlled LLDPE stretch film around the coil on a powered turntable. Film tension is adjustable and the carriage pre-stretches the film, so a thin film gives a tight, neat wrap with the minimum amount of material.
